The Centers for Disease (CDC) Control and Prevention contracted SRCA to design and develop a yearly Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance report that consolidated data by state, disease type, demographic and age group trends. Data was provided by the CDC in spreadsheet format while section text was provided in Microsoft Word documents.

SRCA proposed several designs for the CDC team to choose from: The design was developed and finalized within Adobe InDesign, complete with Master Page formatting, paragraph and character styles, and pre-press standards for final printing.Several charts and illustrations were created in support of the reports. The final book was distributed as a digital, 508-compliant PDF document available for free download from the CDC government website as well as print-ready PDF files for formal printing needs. Printed books were published in full-color, full-bleed paging with “perfect binding” paperback covers.
